2026 Registration will open in November 2026
Skowhegan’s annual holiday parade is scheduled for Friday, December 4, 2025 at 6:30pm!
The countdown is on! Registration will open for the 2026 Whoville Parade in November.
We can’t wait to see the creativity of our community shine. Whether you’re building a float, performing, or marching with friends, we invite everyone to join in the fun. This year, we’re especially excited to see holiday-themed entries—bonus points for anything Grinch-inspired!
Come spread cheer, laughter, and a little mischief as we celebrate the season together.
2025 Parade Route:
The parade started at the corner of Levitt Street and Madison Avenue, travel down Madison Ave., then take a left onto Water Street. From there, it will follow Water Street until making a sharp left onto High Street, then finished with a right onto Court Street, where the parade ended.
Parade Contest Information:
There will be a QR code posted on the lights along Water St. that will take you to a voting form. Once you have access to the form you will be able to vote for your favorite SKOW-Whoville parade floats.
We will announce the first and second-place winners on Main Street Skowhegan‘s Facebook page following the parade!
Note: Parade winners receive no monetary prizes or awards.
